الخدمات الصحية من القطاعات المهمة التي حظيت باهتمام فقيد الوطن الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله الذي وجه منذ تسلمه مقاليد الحكم بالاهتمام بتوفير خدمات صحية شاملة لابناء الوطن انطلاقاً من اهتمامه بالانسان الذي يعتبر الثروة الحقيقية لأي مجتمع.
فقد حرص فقيد الوطن رحمه الله على تسخير كل الامكانات لدعم الخدمات الصحية بكل انواعها حتى لا يسافر المواطن الى الخارج بحثا عن العلاج. وقد نجحت الجهود في بناء شبكة متطورة من المستشفيات الحديثة والمراكز الصحية النموذجية والتي تقدم خدمات صحية تشخيصية وعلاجية ووقائية وفق معايير عالمية للمواطنين والمقمين على ارض الوطن.
قبل تولي فقيد الوطن الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله مقاليد الحكم كانت الخدمات الصحية شبه معدومة باستثناء خدمات فردية من خلال عيادات متناثرة تقدم خدمات محدودة وكان المريض الذي يحتاج الى عملية جراحية يضطر الى السفر الى احدى الدول المجاورة لاجراء العملية واليوم اصبحت غالبية العمليات الجراحية الكبرى والدقيقة تجرى في مستشفيات الدولة بل وبدأ مرضى كثيرون من دول مجاورة ومن دول أخرى يقصدون الامارات للعلاج.
وقد اسهم الدعم اللامحدود الذي كان يقدمه المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله لقطاع الخدمات الصحية في توفير خدمات صحية شاملة تضاهي مثيلاتها في الدول المتقدمة.
وكانت البداية بانشاء المستشفى المركزي وذلك في نهاية عقد الستينات من القرن الماضي حيث شكلت العيادات المتناثرة في منطقة المستشفى المركزي في ذلك الوقت نواة المستشفى الذي شهد توسعات عديدة حتى اصبح من المستشفيات الرئيسية ثم انتشرت المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية في جميع ربوع الوطن الى ان زاد عددها على 37 مستشفى واكثر من 110 مراكز صحية موزعة على مختلف مناطق الدولة.

مستشفيات متطورة

يقول حمد عبدالرحمن المدفع وزير الصحة ان الخدمات الصحية حظيت باهتمام كبير من المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله اذ كان يحرص على توفير الدعم اللازم وتسخير جميع الامكانات المتاحة لتوفير الخدمات الصحية المتطورة وايصالها الى جميع ابناء الوطن في مناطق اقامتهم.. ومن هنا تم انشاء شبكة متطورة من المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية النموذجية التي تغطي جميع انحاء الدولة تقدم من خلالها خدمات صحية ذات مستوى عال.
وسعت وزارة الصحة جاهدة الى توفير خدمات صحية شاملة ومتميزة بسهولة ويسر مستخدمة احدث اساليب التشخيص والعلاج والوقاية لمواكبة التطورات العالمية.
وطوال السنوات الماضية شهدت الخدمات الصحية في الامارات تطوراً ملحوظاً اذ تقدم وزارة الصحة خدماتها من خلال 14 مستشفى واكثر من 80 مركزاً صحياً وذلك الى جانب المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية التابعة للدوائر والهيئات الصحية الاخرى.. وقد ارتفع عدد الاسرة في المستشفيات الى اكثر من 4550 سريراً.
ويضيف المدفع: ان المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله كان في كل زيارة أو جولة تفقدية للمنشآت الصحية يوجه باجراء توسعات واضافة تخصصات وشراء اجهزة ومعدات متطورة الى ان وصلت الخدمات الصحية الى هذا المستوى الراقي وأصبحت غالبية العمليات الجراحية بما فيها العمليات الكبرى تجرى في مستشفيات الدولة اذ يتم سنوياً اجراء اكثر من 62 ألف عملية جراحية بنسب نجاح عالية.
وهذه النقلة النوعية التي شهدتها الخدمات الصحية أسهمت في خفض اعداد المرضى المواطنين الذين يعالجون في الخارج اذ ان نسبة كبيرة من المرضى المواطنين يفضلون تلقي العلاج في مستشفيات الدولة.

تخصصات نادرة

ويوضح المدفع ان غالبية المستشفيات تضم مختلف التخصصات الطبية بما فيها النادرة اذ تجرى بنجاح عمليات علاج اعوجاجات العمود الفقري وجراحات القلب المفتوح وجراحات اليد والاعصاب والدماغ وجراحة الاطفال وجراحات العيون ومناظير الجهاز الهضمي.. وتستقطب المستشفيات سنوياً عشرات الاطباء الزائرين في مختلف التخصصات.. كما أنشأت العديد من المستشفيات والمراكز التخصصية منها مستشفيات الامراض النفسية والعصبية ومراكز علاج السكري ومراكز طب الاسنان وغيرها.

امراض الطفولة

ويشير وزير الصحة الى نجاح جهود خفض نسبة انتشار امراض الطفولة واستئصال العديد من الامراض منها شلل الاطفال والتيتانوس وغيرها.. وقد انخفضت نسبة وفيات الاطفال الرضع الى اقل من 7 لكل ألف مولود حي ما يعكس مدى التطور الكبير الذي شهدته الخدمات الصحية في الامارات طوال السنوات الماضية.
ويضيف: ان وزارة الصحة مستمرة في جهودها الرامية الى استئصال المزيد من امراض الطفولة وخفض نسبة انتشار بعض الامراض.

مستشفيات جديدة

ويضيف وزير الصحة انه استمراراً للنهج الذي استنه المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله أمر صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله خلال زياراته للامارات الشمالية بانشاء مستشفيات تخصصية في عدد من مدن الامارات الشمالية انطلاقاً من حرص القيادة الرشيدة على توفير افضل الخدمات الصحية لابناء الوطن والمقيمين على ارض الدولة.
ويتم حالياً بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة في الدولة اتخاذ الترتيبات اللازمة لانشاء هذه المستشفيات التي ستسهم في تطوير نوعية الخدمات الصحية المقدمة خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

تطوير الخدماتويقول حسن احمد العلكيم وكيل وزارة الصحة: ان المتتبع لواقع الخدمات الصحية في نهاية الستينات والسبعينات وواقعها في الوقت الحاضر يلمس مدى التطور الكبير الذي شهدته الخدمات الصحية والتي طرأت عليها نقلة نوعية اذ انشأت مستشفيات نموذجية ومراكز صحية متطورة تم تزويدها بأحدث الاجهزة والمعدات المتطورة التي تستخدم في تشخيص وعلاج الامراض المختلفة.
ويضيف العلكيم في السبعينات كان المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله يقوم بجولات متواصلة للمستشفى المركزي للاطلاع على الخدمات المتطورة ويوجه دائما بتوسيع المستشفى وانشاء اقسام جديدة.. وبعد انشاء مستشفى الجزيرة كان المغفور له يزور المستشفى بين فترة واخرى للاطلاع على التجهيزات المختلفة وكان دائما يوجه بتسخير الامكانات لشراء وتوفير احتياجات المستشفيات والمنشآت الصحية.

تخصصات نادرةيقول الدكتور عبدالغفار محمد عبدالغفور وكيل وزارة الصحة المساعد لشؤون الطب العلاجي:

ان وزارة الصحة حرصت على ادخال أحدث التقنيات التشخيصية والعلاجية في المستشفيات وتطوير اقسام العناية المركزة وغرف العمليات واقسام الحوادث والطوارئ.. واصبحت المستشفيات تضم غالبية التخصصات الطبية الدقيقة والنادرة.
ويضيف: ان غالبية حالات الاورام والمخ والاعصاب والعمود الفقري وغيرها من الحالات الاخرى كانت ترسل للعلاج في الخارج وذلك في المراكز الطبية التخصصية.. ومع الاهتمام المتزايد بالخدمات الصحية وتطويرها في الامارات تم إنشاء العديد من الاقسام التخصصية واستحدثت تخصصات طبية عديدة في غالبية المستشفيات وزودت بأحدث المعدات والاجهزة الطبية التشخيصية ما اسهم في اجراء كل انواع العمليات وبنسب نجاح عالية.
وبلغ اجمالي الحالات التي تم علاجها داخل المستشفيات اكثر من 159 ألف مريض تم ادخالهم المستشفيات فيما بلغ اجمالي الحالات التي تم علاجها من خلال العيادات التخصصية والاستشارية في المستشفيات اكثر من 3 ملايين مريض.

د. عبدالرحيم جعفر: كان همه ألا يغترب المواطن بحثاً عن العلاج

يقول الدكتور عبدالرحيم جعفر المستشار الطبي في وزارة الصحة تمر الذكرى الأولى على رحيل المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله، والقلب يعتصر ألماً والعين تدمع حزناً على فراق زعيم الأمة مؤسس دولة الإمارات وباني نهضتها. منذ الأيام الأولى لتسلم فقيد الوطن الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله، مقاليد الحكم، كان همه بناء دولة عصرية وتحقيق الاستقرار والرفاهية لأبناء شعبه وانطلاقاً من هذه الرؤية حرص على تسخير جميع الامكانات المتاحة لتوفير جميع الخدمات وفق أحدث المواصفات ونجحت جهوده رحمه الله وبمشاركة اخوانه أصحاب السمو حكام الإمارات في تأسيس دولة عصرية تحتل مكانة مرموقة على المستوى العالمي.
وكان دائماً يقول المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله: الإنسان هو الثروة الحقيقية لأي مجتمع ومن هنا كان يولي للإنسان أهمية بالغة ولا يدخر جهداً في سبيل توفير جميع متطلباته والاهتمام به ليصبح عنصراً فاعلاً مؤثراً وقادراً على المشاركة الفاعلة في عمليات البناء والتطوير.
ويضيف الدكتور عبدالرحيم جعفر كان فقيد الوطن الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله يولي الخدمات الصحية أهمية خاصة إذ كان يشرف بنفسه على مواقع انشاء المستشفيات ويتابع مراحل الانشاء ثم يزورها في جولات تفقدية بشكل مستمر للاطمئنان على نوعية الخدمات وتلمس هموم المرضى والاستماع إلى احتياجاتهم والعمل على توفيرها، إلى جانب توفير الدعم اللامحدود لشراء المعدات والأجهزة المتطورة واستحداث التخصصات المختلفة إذ كان يقول دائماً لا أريد أن يغترب المواطن بحثاً عن العلاج. ويوضح الدكتور جعفر ان قيادتنا الرشيدة ممثلة في صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله، يسير على النهج الذي خطه فقيد الوطن، إذ لا يدخر صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة جهداً في سبيل تطوير مستوى الخدمات الصحية في الإمارات، حيث وجه في الآونة الأخيرة بإنشاء عدد من المستشفيات المتطورة في الإمارات الشمالية.

ناصر البدور: حرص على دعم الجهود الدولية لتطوير الخدمات الصحية وتحسينها

قال ناصر خليفة البدور وكيل وزارة الصحة المساعد لشؤون العلاقات الخارجية والصحة الدولية: ان المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله كان يولي اهتماما كبيرا للمستجدات الصحية العالمية ويحرص على مشاركة الامارات في الجهود العالمية فيما يتصل بتحسين مستوى الصحة العامة وتطوير مستوى الخدمات الصحية. ومن هنا وجه المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله في العام 1993 بإنشاء المؤسسة الصحية لجائزة الامارات يتم من خلالها منح جائزة سنوية عالمية للاشخاص او المنظمات الذين حققوا انجازا بارزا في حقل الصحة وتطويرها.
وكانت حكومة الامارات قد قدمت مليون دولار لمنظمة الصحة العالمية كوقف يستعمل ريعه لمنح جائزة دولية.
وأضاف ان هذه الجائزة الدولية التي انشئت بتوجيه من فقيد الوطن الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله وبمبادرة من صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله تؤكد حرص سموهما على دعم النهضة الصحية في دول العالم.
وأوضح ان هذه المكرمة ليست بشيء جديد بالنسبة للامارات فقد سبق للدولة وبتوجيهات من المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان رحمه الله ان شاركت في دعم النشاطات الصحية لمركز كارتر لمكافحة مرض “التينية المدينية” “دودة غينيا” وفي العديد من الدول الافريقية كما دعمت اعمال مركز علاج المعوقين وتدريبهم في الصين، الى جانب حرص فقيد الوطن على دعم العديد من المشاريع الصحية في الدول العربية والاسلامية ودول عدة حيث تم انشاء العديد من المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية في هذه الدول
