أستخدام In - on - at
In - on - at من حروف الجر وتستخدم في عدة مواضع و هي :
1 - لتحديد المكان
2 - لتحديد الزمــــان ( الوقت )
اولا: استخدام ( in – on – at) لتحديد المكان :
At (في/عند)........عندما احدد موقع (مكان) معين او نقطة معينة
كأن اقول:
at the door عند الغرفة - at the corner عند الزاوية - at the bus stop عند موقف الباص
مثال:
Maha is waiting for you at the bus stop- 1
مها تنتظرك عند موقف الباص
The shop is at the end of the street.- 2
السوق (عند /في ) نهاية الشارع
In (في ) .......وتستخدم للاماكن المغلقة (عندما يكون الشئ بداخل المكان ) او الاماكن المحصورة ( مثل البلدان و المدن )
كأن اقول:
in London في لندن - in the garden في الحديقة - in a box في الصندوق -in a building في المبنى
مثال :
1- I have a meeting in New York.
انا عندي اجتماع في نيويورك
Do you work in an office?-2
هل تعمل في المكتب
On ( على ) ........ عندما يكون الشئ فوق السطح
كان اقول :
on the wall على الجدار - on the cover على الغلاف - on the carpet على السجادة
مثال :
You are standing on my foot-1
انت تقف على قدمي
There are no prices on this menu-2
لا توجد اسعار على قائمة الطعام
.................................................. ........................
ثانيـــا : استخدام ( in – on – at) لتحديد الوقت :
At ....... تستخدم للساعات خلال اليوم
كان اقول :
at 3 o'clock - at bedtime - at the moment - at night
مثال:
The shop closes at midnight.-1
السوق يغلق عند منتصف الليل
2-The stars shine at night
النجوم تلمع في المساء
In ...... تستخدم للشهور – السنوات و فصولها – القرن – و الفترات الطويلة
كان اقول :
in May في مايو - in summer في الصيف - in 1990 - in the past/future في الماضي /المستقبل
مثال :
In England, it often snows in December
في انجلترا كثيرا ما تثلج في ديسمبر
In ...... تستخدم للايام و التاريخ
كان اقول :
on Sunday - on 25 Dec. 2010 - on Christmas Day
مثال :
Do you work on Mondays? -1
هل تعمل يوم الاثنين ؟
Her birthday is on 20 November-2
يوم ميلادها في 20 نوفمبر
حالة خاصة :
فرقي ......تستخدم ( in – on ) في التعابير العامة التالية (الخاصة للوقت ) :
vعندما توجد في الجملة last, next, every, this
لا نستخدم ابدا at, in, on
مثال :
vI went to London last June. (not in last June)
vHe's coming back next Tuesday. (not on next Tuesday)

الاسترخاء في الحديقة
·Why would the park be a good place to relax
لماذا الحديقة تكون مكان جيد للاسترخاء ؟ It has been a busy week at work. Beth needs to relax. She wants to go to the park. It is quiet there. She will not think about work.
Beth makes a sack lunch. She puts bread, cheese, grapes, and carrots in a brown bag. Then she finds her lawn chair and gets her book.
At the park, Beth finds a nice spot near the pond. She takes in some deep breaths of the fresh air. She enjoys having her bare feet on the grass. Beth eats her lunch. Then she reads her book.
It is time to go home. Beth gathers her things. She feels XXXXXXXed from her time at the park.
