Dubai is one of the seven Emirates that make the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its main city also is called Dubai. This is the second largest city in UAE. It is a city growing very fast. Its booming economy attracts skill and unskill labour from all parts of the world. The fast growing economy demands extensive infrastructural facilities. Burj Al Arab means The Arab Building in Arabic Language. A 321 metre tall building accommodates a hotel. This is located in an artificial island created in the sea about 280 metres away from tha beach. A bridge connects the island with the mainland. The building has been designed to look like a sail of an arabian dhow. It is said to be the tallest building in the world, which is built excusively as a Hotel. This building has become a landmark in the city and a symbol for Dubai. The atrium in this building is 180 meters tall.
For those who choose to travel by air, a helipad projects from the building 200 meters off the ground.
