Planning involves the creation and maintenance of a plan. As such, planning is a fundamental property of intelligent behavior. This thought process is essential to the creation and refinement of a plan, or integration of it with other plans; that is, it combines forecasting of developments with the preparation of scenarios of how to react to them. An important, albeit often ignored aspect of planning, is the relationship it holds with forecasting. Forecasting can be described as predicting what the future will look like, whereas planning predicts what the future should look like.Importance of PlanningThe importance of the planning function should have be clear to you. We can outline the importance of planning function as follows :Provides Direction: Planning provides a clear sense of direction to the activities of the organization and to the job behavior of managers and others. It strengthens their confidence in understanding where the organization is heading and what for, how best to make the organization move along the chosen path, and when should they take what measures to achieve the goals of the organization .Create a To-Do ListIn order to learn how to prioritize your tasks you MUST write them down. Chances are if you feel the need to have to prioritize things then you have enough going on in your life that you can’t remember it all in your head. People who can remember everything they have to do all the time without writing it down typically don’t have that much to do!When you make your to-do list start by writing everything down that comes to mind. Go over the areas of your life including personal and work-related. Leave nothing out. Your initial to-do list is like a brainstorming session. You’ll start the prioritizing next.Life can be a very dark, unknown space, but you can light little lamps along the way. These lights are your plans! Plans are stepping stones to reaching your destination. Good planning starts early on in life and continues until goals are met. The UAE consists of seven emirates each are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain. Each of them governed by a hereditary emir, with a single national president .The capital is Abu Dhabi, which is also the state's center of political, industrial, and cultural activities.Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan - Allah's mercy - United the seven Emirates in 1971 and since that year, and the country see a rapid evolution in all fields. In the past the people travel by used animals to travel like camels and donkeys on land. But in the sea they used the ship. The people spent a lot of time to travel and the road was very difficult to walk. But today in the UAE they have roads to use and travel. And they have a new transport like cars, planes and trains. They spend little time to arrive at the place.The Education has developed greatly nowadays .in the past, people were studying only few subjects like : Quran ,And Arabic letters . They were studying in few schools The person who used to teach the student was called the Muttawa .Unlike Education in the past , Education now a days is modern . students are studying many subject like : English , History , and Math. There are many modern schools and colleges.Like everything health services have evolved in the Emirates,. In the past there was not much hospitals so it was a large number of deaths. But at the present time the Country has provided hospitals and equipped with the latest advanced equipments..Eventually United Arab Emirates has seen a major development in record time. In my opinion, this is thanks to a wise man united the Arab Emirates.
