Ibn Sina Robot Project is like a unique bomb in Arab’s and in United Arab Emirates’ glory. United Arab Emirates always tries to be famous in different fields such as architectural marvels and economic vision. And Ibn Sina Robot came as a new success adds to the United Arab Emirates’ successes.
Ibn Sina robot is the first Arabic-speaking humanoid robot that can make intelligent conversations with humans in Arabic. It designed to serve the industry by Pal Technology Robotics. Its name related to the 11th century philosopher “Ibn Sina” who excelled in philosophy, mathematics and medicine. Ibn Sina Robot’s idea came by Dr. Nikolaos Mavridis, director of the Interactive Robots and Media Laboratory (IRML) at the United Arab Emirates University, and it was developed in the College of Information Technology at the same University. This robot is different than the other robots in that it can change its face expressions, can make full conversations with humans, also it can exchange kisses with people, and the amazing thing that, it can connect to the internet and make its own account in face book.
